Waffle Flower December 2019 Release Blog Hop & Giveaways

Waffle Flower’s last release in 2019 focuses on the upcoming Valentine’s Day. Stamps and dies that help us send sweet, loving thoughts never go out of style.

I’m so excited to be joining the Waffle Flower Design Team and sharing my projects with you this month! I have lots to share today which I hope inspires you.

I’m kicking it right out of the gate with the Bouquet Builder stamp set. I’m sharing how I watercolored this beautiful image using Metallic Watercolors onto Black Watercolor cardstock.

VIDEO

I have also included a video showing my process that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I start by heat embossing my images onto Stonehenge Aqua Coldpress Black card stock. Then watercolor using the Altenew Metallic Watercolors.

Once dry, I use the coordinating die to cut out the images. I’ll heat emboss in Champagne a sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments stamp set. Then I can attach my images using a dot runner and black foam squares.

My next card is featuring the super sweet images from the Secret Admirer stamp set. I kept this card clean and simple by just ink blending Word Lipstick Distress Oxide ink onto Neenah Solar White cardstock.

The images I stamped in copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out and attach to my card front. Such a sweet and simple card!

Next up is Harpy Birthday. How sweet is that puppy playing the harp?! I am a big fan of copic coloring so once again I stamped the image onto Neenah Solar White cardstock with copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to cut out the image and some musical notes.

For the background, I ink blended Tattered Rose, Abandoned Coral and Seedless Preserve Distress Oxide ink with a blending brush. I flicked on some metallic watercolor for a little sparkle and shine. The sentiment also comes from this same stamp set. I just heat embossed it onto black cardstock with white embossing powder and added to the card front.

The Outline Love stamp set and word die are a phenomenal combo! I die cut the outline 3 times from white card stock. I attached this with foam tape to a background I ink blended using Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide inks.

I finished off with a small sentiment heat embossed in white onto black card stock.

Now we come to this Sweet Mailbox. Literally, that’s what it’s called. You can either attach this to a card front or use all on its own and it’s interactive! The little mailbox open and ….

You’ve got mail! I also added this mouse from the Sending Love stamp set and a fun message to the front.
