VIDEO

I have a video for you today featuring this amazing House Builder and Gingerbread House Add On. You can watch the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

Check out this super fun holiday shape card! I really had a lot of fun creating this. Actually so much fun that I made two! This is an A2 size house shaped card using the House Builder and Gingerbread House Add On Honey Cuts.

This die set has so many amazing elements to it. The Add On is meant to make a Gingerbread House and coordinates with the Gingerbread Man stamp set but I fell in love with making Christmas houses.

The details of how to create the card are in the video so be sure to check out that out HERE. Here are a few other details about the card stock I used if interested.

I decorated the base of the house using Cherry Pop card stock and adding the Subway Tile Stencil using Mulled Wine Ink. Some other colors I used are Sugar Cube, Sweet Basil, Pineapple, Paper Bag, Lime Zest, and Pixie Dust Glitter card stock.

This shaped card fit perfectly into an A2 envelope and surprisingly not bulky.

And yes I know, my curtains are upside down in one of the windows lol.

One idea I suggested in my video is creating a fun Christmas Village and displaying them in your house.

I added a Nuvo Shimmer Pen to the lollipops for some sparkle and topped it off with Crystalline Drops from Gina K Designs.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the Believe sentiment using Cherry Pop ink.

I have one more card to share with you. When I first started working on these cards I went to Pinterest to look up different ideas for a gingerbread house. You know how it goes when you get to Pinterest. One picture leads to another and I found myself looking through different Christmas villages.

I found so many ideas and loved the Christmas house look. This one below resembles a house from the Charlie Brown Christmas houses.

You can see I stamped the mail box from the Gingerbread stamp set and colored it in. Then die cut to add to my house front. The base of the house is made from Butter Cream card stock which looks amazing next to the Pixie Dust card stock.

You can ink blend different areas to add a little depth to the die cut pieces like I did with the trees.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! I sure had a lot of fun creating them!
