CARD DETAILS

This may be one of the cleanest cards I’ve ever made and I think it may be my favorite. The sentiment is stamped in Obsidian Ink using the Crystal Frames stamp set.

I die cut the frame from Gold Glitter card stock and added around my sentiment.

The beautiful flowers are stamped using the new Bright Blossoms stamp set. I stamped in Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Firefly and Shadow Creek inks from Altenew.

I love when you can get two cards from one background. Using acrylic blocks, stamped my images around the card panel using the Bright Blossoms stamp. I used Mountain Mist, Volcano Lake, Firefly and Shadow Creek inks.

Next, I die cut out the Mega Hope die from the center of the panel. I also die cut out 5 more Hope word dies from white card stock.

For the first panel, I added the white die cut words to the negative space. This adds some beautiful dimension. I topped it off with a Nuvo Shimmer Pen for some sparkle. I stamped the sentiment using the Mega Greetings stamp set onto Black card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

For my second card, I layered the die cut word with two more layers using liquid glue. Before adding my word to the card, I lined it up so I could align the sentiments.

For both of these cards I’m using Hero Hues Kiwi card stock which was a perfect match to my leaves.

My next cards I did a bit of watercoloring. I’m still exploring this medium and this is a great way to start out slow and simple. Using the Altenew watercolors, I just added strips of color to the center of my cards panels.

The sentiment is from the Crystal Frames stamp set and stamped in Obsidian Black ink. Since I’m using watercolor paper, I needed to stamp a couple times.

This was so easy to do I just couldn’t stop! So many different color combinations to try out and it was a lot of fun!

I’m also using the stamp set Something Wonderful.

This is a great staple stamp set to have. It’s small, has a fabulous sentiment and beautiful leaves that also have a coordinating die.

I really loved doing an ombre watercoloring on the backgrounds. Just think of how many cards you could mass produce with this technique and one small stamp set.

My next card, I created an entire background with the watercolors and once dry, trimmed the panel down.

The frames were a perfect accent to the card front.

For all of my cards today I’m working on the NEW Stamping Mat from Altenew. You’ll be able to see it in my video. This mat is created with silicone and is great for stamping, watercoloring, ink blending, heat embossing and everyday crafting. It features inches as well as metric measurements on the edges and a half inch grid.

This mat measures 12″ x 16″ and is also great for heat embossing on. It will stick to your surface without moving around while creating. I have really enjoyed working with it. It cleans up really well and when I’m done, I just roll it up and set it off on the side.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration.

You’re next stop is Jeanna Jachna!
