Gina K Designs April Blog Hop Day 2

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Gina K Designs Blog Hop for the April Release. We are sharing inspiration for the Elegant Asters card kit and Hugs & Wildflowers stamp set.

Don’t forget to leave a comment to be entered into the GIVEAWAY for a chance at a $50 gift certificate to the Gina K Designs store! Winners will be announced on the Gina K Designs blog on Friday, April 19, 2019.

My first card is using the Elegant Asters card kit. I stamped my images onto white card stock with Embossing Ink. Then added white embossing powder and heat with my heat gun.

Before die cutting my images, I’m going to add some color. I used Red Hot, Wild Dandelion, Sea Glass, Sweet Mango and Jelly Bean Green ink cubes and applied the colors with a Life Changing Blender Brush. Then attached the coordinating dies with purple tape and die cut with my Gemini Jr.

I attached my die cut images around my white card panel using Connect glue. Then I added this panel to a card base made from Sea Glass card stock. I stamped the sentiment from this set using Black Amalgam ink and die cut with the Small Circle Double Stitched Dies. I also die cut a larger circle from Sea Glass card stock and added to my card front with foam squares.

My next card is featuring the beautiful Hugs & Wildflowers stamp set. I randomly stamped my flower images around my card with Black Amalgam ink. I stamped the layering image over my outline using Innocent Pink Ink. What I really love about this set is I don’t have to align it perfectly. It’s feels more artsy to stamp them off center.

I die cut a circle from the center of the card panel and added to a piece of Whisper card stock. Using my Misti, I stamp the sentiment in the middle.

So simple and yet so beautiful!

I have one more card to share with you and that is featuring the Peaceful Florals Incentive set. You can earn this set for free by spending $75 or more!

To start my card, I heat embossed the Peaceful Florals with white embossing powder. Then I masked off a portion of that image with post it tape and ink blended Seedless Preserves, Abandoned Coral and Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink.

Staying clean and simple, I just added my die cut Hugs words using Connect Glue. So simple but a powerful message.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
