Sweet Peek Day 1 – SugarPea Designs

Welcome to Day 1 of Sweet Peeks with SugarPea Designs! I’m so thrilled to be guest designing and sharing this release with you!

(This design style was inspired by a fellow crafter Kay Miller. She has a beautiful style that I wanted to try out)
Today I’m giving you a sneek peek of the new set Llama Just Say and it’s such a fabulous set! I love this cute little face on the Llama. I chose two images off this stamp set and stamped them onto Neenah white cardstock 80lb with copic friendly ink. Then colored with copic markers and diecut using the coordinating dies. I thought it would be fun to add texture to the Llama by just using little dots from the tip of my copic marker.
For my background, I used a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink. I start in the middle and in a circular motion blend outwards. I add less pressure to my blending as I work my way out of the center. Then I spritz with water and dab with a paper towel.
This sentiment is also from the Llama Just Say stamp set. I heat embossed the word “Thank You”  with gold embossing powder onto black cardstock. Then trimmed down to a small strip. Using my Misti tool, I lined up where my elements would go and stamped the remaining sentiments.
Once the sentiments were lined up and stamped, I could finish attaching my card together. I added my finished panel to a white A2 size notecard.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card! It’s such a cute stamp set!
