My inspiration today features the Detailed Leaf set. I’ll be using the stamp, die, stencil and foil plate.

I start by foiling my detailed leaf with the foil plate. In the video, I foiled it three times with different glimmer foils and then picked out my favorite. When I am foiling, I will usually do a few variations and then save the rest for another day.

What makes this set unique, is the areas of the stencil that overlap to create a new color.

I’m using the colors Ocean Breeze, Aquamarine, Mermaid Cove, Tidal Pond, and Lavender. I picked colors that I knew would blend well when overlapped.

I blended the colors with my blending brushes then cut out with the coordinating die.

In a different foiling session, I created panels using the Nested Rectangle Foil Plate and die. This creates a beautiful frame and grounding space for my leaf.

The sentiment coms from the Detailed Leaf stamp set. It’s actually the only time I used the stamp set in this card but you could use any sentiment you may have.

I heat embossed the sentiment twice so it’s a little more dimensional and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
