Hello my fabulous friends! Today starts the countdown to the next My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts and let me tell you this release and kit is going to knock your socks clear off!
Now before we get super inky, I’m going to start you off clean and simple. As you can see from my card, we are going into outer space and I can get quite carried away with my backgrounds.
This kit has tons of great encouragement images and messages.
I’m going to ink blend a panel of Deluxe White cardstock with Cornflower and Nautical ink using my blending brushes.
Something fun I’ve wanted to try was using my Hero Wax to add flicks to my background. I saw Channin do this in a live once. I added a bit of the gold wax to my work surface, added a bit of water and then flicked it onto my background. Super cool!
I left the bottom of the blended panel open for a sentiment and then added the images in the center.
These images are so awesome! Gosh, I can’t wait til you see the rest of the kit!
