Concord & 9th All Is Bright Release

Hello friends! Popping in to share a little inspiration using the new release from Concord & 9th! It’s a good one !

If you know me, you know I go for the stencils first. I’m using the Boughs & Holly Stencil Pack. There’s actually TWO designs in this pack but I’m only working with one today for my card.

Instead of your traditional holiday colors, I went for more of a modified-rainbow…. ish… lol.

For the first layer of the stencil I’m using Sprout, Buttercup, Marmalade and Poppy.

I’m also going to use those same colors with the second layer of the stencil but going over it a little more heavy handed with my blending brushes.

The third layer, I decided to add some sparkle with the Gina K Designs Gold Glitz Glitter Gel.

Such a fun color combo!

For the sentiment, I was immediately drawn to the Festive Phrases stamp and die set.

I stamped the word Merry using black ink and then used the coordinating die to cut it out. I also cut out 3 more pieces of white cardstock with the coordinating die so I could layer them together for dimension.

Once the glitter gel was dry, I stamped the smaller “let’s be” sentiment onto the card front and then added the die cut word with liquid glue.

We are not going to talk about how I added this card front to an A2 size card base the wrong way lol (fold is on the right – oops!). I may have to send this one to my brother this year.

Be sure to check out the rest of the release because it’s amazing! I’ll be sharing more cards soon in an up coming video.
