Hello friends! I’m joining Altenew in a blog hop today featuring their Marvelous Monthly Series.
First I want to share inspiration using the Build-A-Garden Daffodil Delight.

I created a bright and cheerful one layer card using the stamp and stencil.

Using one of my favorite tricks of stamping with a light grey gives the image a softer, almost no-line look.

Next we have the Craft You Life Project Kit Magnolia and Blooms. Gosh I love working with these project kits. There is so many jammed into them with so many uses.

I created two very similar cards by mainly just changing up the color of the background.
For the layering of the flowers I’m using colors from the Red Cosmos, Cool Summer Night, and Sea Shore collections.

I used the included embossing folder to add interest to the background and lightly ink blended over it with a coordinating color.

I love using the Altenew large blending brushes to go over the embossed backgrounds.
This one is also stamped in a light grey ink. My intention is to stamp back over the image with a black once I’ve blended on the colors but I always love the lighter color.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration using the kits!
