Blend-Free Copic Coloring

Hey friends! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

I have a card to share today that was inspired by Yana Smakula. She does this beautiful no-blending technique with her copic markers and it’s really easy!

If you have copic markers but are unsure how to use them or struggle with blending, then this is for you!

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I talk in detail about the process in my video so be sure to check that out.

You can see in this technique I did not blending and left harsh lines. This gives such a great abstract look.

It’s a stress-free coloring process that gives amazing results.

This card is using the Gina K Designs Spring Bouquet stamp set that is stamped in Obsidian ink.

I used the coordinating die to cut out the image and add to a white card panel that is trimmed down to 3 3/4″ x 5″.

I added a sentiment from the Succulent Spray stamp set. It has the most amazing fonts!

My panel is added to a card front created with Whisper cardstock mounted with double sided foam.

I hope you check out the video and this inspires you to give coloring with copics a try.

Don’t forget this adorable Pretty Posy stamp set ships for FREE with any $75+ order from Gina K Designs. No code needed. It will automatically be added to your cart.

And if you are shopping over at Simon Says Stamp, there sale is going strong!

I have recently created a TIP JAR that you can check out HERE if interested. Think of it as tipping your waitress lol.

This is gorgeous, Mindy! I love Yana’s technique and have seen a few of her videos in which she used this technique (the flamingo one from CCC comes to mind, for ex). Your card is a stunner. TFS –
