Welcome friends to Day 3 of the countdown to the March 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit from Hero Arts!
Check out these amazing paint splatters that can easily be achieved with the new kit. This kit has my name/style written all over it !
To create my card, I started with a piece of canvas-textured paper. I squished down Taffy and Lemon Drop reactive ink onto a slick surface, sprayed with water and drug my paper through the ink. This gave a fun artistic look to my background.
After the background was dry, I stamped the paint splatter images onto my background using embossing ink. I sprinkled both gold and copper embossing powder over my inked image and tapped off the excess. Mixing embossing powders gives the design a fun new look.
I finished off by heat embossing a sentiment onto Pitch Black cardstock using white embossing powder.
Can’t wait to show you what else I’ve created using this new kit and release.
