Cards Gina K Designs

Quick Card with Masking

Hi friends! I have some inspiration to share using one of the new sets from the Gina K Designs release. This is the Rarest Rose. It’s a big gorgeous floral set which I will be coloring up very soon but I really just wanted to play so I’m doing a little ink blending.

I used my masking magic to mask off a small area on my Layering weight white cardstock.

Then I ink blended on Wild Dandelion, Sweet Mango, Wild Lilac and In The Navy using my blending brushes.

Who says purple, orange and yellow is only for Halloween? It makes a great combo for any time of the year.

I peeled back my masking magic and using my Misti, I stamped the large floral image in Obsidian ink.

I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Let’s Celebrate card kit. The sentiment is stamped in obsidian ink and I used the coordinating die to cut it out.

I also added 3 more layers of that die cut sentiment piece to really separate it from the background.

This card called for some embellishments and I used the Spellbinders Fashion Gold Embellishments which already have adhesive on the back.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! Thanks for stopping by.
