VIDEO: Multi-Color Stamping + Simon Says Stamp Handmade Holiday Hop

Hi crafty friends! Today is Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Handmade Holiday blog hop filled with tons of inspiration! Don’t forget to check out Day 1 for even more cards, projects and papercrafting goodness!

A tradition in my house is reading Twas The Night Before Christmas which is why I fell in love with this peel apart cling stamp Night Before Christmas. It gave me all the feels! Today I’ll be showing you how I did multi-color stamping on my background to create almost this storybook-feel kind of slimline card.

VIDEO

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Peel apart cling background stamps are very fun and versatile. You can use the whole thing to create a scene or just bits and pieces of it for a unique design.

I am using nothing but the Night Before Christmas stamp to create my card front. I even left in the white spaces as I felt it gave more a story-book look but you could create your own ink blended background and stamp over the top with just the silhouette images.

I mention quite frequently how the Reverse Sentiments Strips can be foiled and in my video, I’m also showing you how I did that for today’s card.

I’ll be using my mini minc machine and Gold foil. Then I trimmed the sentiment down with the Sentiment Labels die. Since the sentiment was quite long, I just trimmed it down with my scissors so I could create two lines of text.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card project and it gave you all the Christmas feels like it did for me.
