Welcome everyone! It’s that magical time of the month where it’s the Simon Says Stamp release! I have some inspiration to share with you featuring some of the new products.
First I have the Mountainscape and Wish I Could Hug You word die.
Have you tried tone-on-tone stamping? It’s great for quick and easy cards. It also helps keep the focus of the card on the sentiment.
I stamped the Mountainscape using Misty Coast Ink from Pink Fresh Studio onto Fog cardstock from Lawn Fawn.
I loved the outdoorsy look and worked that into my sentiment. On white cardstock, I ink blended Bundled Sage, Evergreen Bough and Rustic Wilderness Distress Oxide inks. Then die cut out my word.
My next card you might need sunglasses for because it’s pretty bright!
I started by die cutting my panel using the Gina K Designs Master Layouts 7 to get a mini slimline card.
Then I ink blended on Salvaged Patina, Blueprint Sketch and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide inks.
I took the Slimline Organic Dots stencil, turned it slightly to fit my card front and added Cosmic Shimmer Paste.
After everything was dry and I had added to a white cardbase, I added the sentiment You’re The Best die cut from white and Holographic cardstock.
