Simon Says Stamp Born To Sparkle Release!

Hello everyone! It’s time for a new release from Simon Says Stamp! I can’t wait to share what’s up my sleeve this time around! So many fabulous new products!

I’m going to share just one of the new products tonight but stay tuned because I will be sharing more very very soon!

My card tonight is featuring the new Spring Blooms background stamp set. I love background stamps because there are so many different ways you can use them.

I’m trying out a new technique tonight.

I started by stamping by background onto black card stock with white pigment ink.

After that was dry, I ever-so-slightly shifted my paper in my Misti and stamped a variety of colors from Concord & 9th including Parsley, Eggplant and Oceanside.

Not only does this allow you to see the colors on dark card stock but it also has a little bit of a shadow effect.

After trimming down the background to 3 3/4″ x 5″, I added it to a white card base.

The sentiment I picked is from a previously released stamp set called Hexagon Greetings.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the amazing release!

    Hi, M –
This release is catching me at a bad time for my wallet. I just paid off a large bill and am glad it’s paid but don’t have a lot of cashola right now. So I chose the 2-3 items I wanted most and will wait for the others, I guess. Your card is amazing and the release is terrific.
Have a terrific Wednesday – and Thursday and Friday, while you’re at it!

I just watched Jenifer McGuire’s video and I love making lots of different uses of my embossing folders, as I have a collection of hundreds of them. I am learning so much in the blog hop. Thanks for helping put these on!
