Lawn Fawn Valentine Release: Scalloped Slimline With Hearts

Hello and welcome to Lawn Fawn’s Valentine Inspiration & Release Week! On December 10th our 3 new stamp sets, 7 new die sets and some fun new products will be available at your favorite store and www.lawnfawn.com! Woohoo! Until then we will have fun posts with design team projects, intro videos, and giveaways!

Today we are featuring two new collections to the Slimline line. I’m using the Scalloped Slimline with Hearts Portrait die for my project below.

I used Ballet Slippers and Mermaid card stock to cut out my front panel and scalloped background.

One a piece of white card stock, I ink blended clouds using the Cloudy Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to put behind my heart panel.

My adorable little images come from Special Delivery, Open Me and A Bug Deal and colored with copic markers. I used B06, B04, B02, B00 for the birds and G29, G17, YG06, and YG00 for the leaves.

I used the little speech bubble from the stamp set A Bug Deal and added the “chirp chirp” from Special Delivery.

Since my card front was filled up, I added the sentiment to the inside using the Critter Chatter Pets and Happy Wavy Sayings stamped in Jet Black and Mermaid Ink.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!

Be sure to check out the Lawn Blog to enter into their giveaways!

Beautiful card! I love it! I love the little birds from “Open Me,” I never would have thought of using them because I don’t think of that set as a critter set — I am learning to think more broadly with respect to my LF sets! Thank you so much! (Obviously not just for this card, but I do love this card!)
