Happy Holidays with Lawn Fawn

Welcome everyone! I have another Lawn Fawn project to share with you today featuring these fun bears from Snow Much Fun! I love the look of them creating snow angels.

I started by creating my background. I ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks onto Bristol Smooth card stock using a blending tool. Then I splattered with water and dabbed up the excess water with a paper towel.

I used the Snowflakes Trio Stencil and applied the Icicle Blue Sparkle Cosmic Shimmer with a palette knife to add some sparkle to my card.

Using the images from Snow Much Fun and trees from Winter Skies, I stamped them in Jet Black ink onto white card stock and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating dies and my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine to cut them out.

I die cut a snowy hill from white card stock using the Stitched Hillside Border and stamped the snow angel frame using Kiddie Pool Ink. Then added to my ink blended panel.

I popped up my bears using foam squares to add some dimension.

For my sentiment, I used the Mice On Ice stamp set. I stamped “Happy” in embossing ink onto Chili Pepper card stock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Then used the coordinating die to cut it out.

I also heat embossed the word “Holidays” from the Mice On Ice stamp set onto Black Licorice card stock.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! This card also fits in with the current Lawn Fawnatics Happy Holiday Critters challenge. You have until December 6 to enter the challenge.

Oh, my! I love the color scheme, the little bears… pretty much the whole sha-bang. Thx for the break from entering students’ scores in the computer. 🙂
