Welcome everyone! Today is the final day of our Instagram hop featuring the new release from Gina K Designs. Over the last several days, we have been featuring a stamp set from the release and sharing inspiration.

Today we are featuring the Sparkle and Shine Card Kit. What can we say about this kit except WOWZERS! Gina always blows us away with her kits and this one was no different!
I’m using my Holiday Tapestry for my first card. I heat embossed it in Clear onto Layering White cardstock. Then I ink blended Red Velvet and Jelly Bean Green over the top for an emboss resist. To ensure I did not create brown with the ink blending, I didn’t let the two colors meet.
I trimmed the panel down with the Master Layouts 2 die set and added to a white card base.
My sentiment comes from the Sparkle and Shine stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment in White embossing powder onto Black Onyx cardstock and trimmed down to a thin strip. This fit perfectly over the area I did not ink blend.
My second card is very clean and simple as well. This time using the Snowflake Edger die that I die cut from white cardstock. I layered the snowflakes over a piece of Red Velvet cardstock and added a sentiment that was heat embossed in Silver onto Tranquil Teal cardstock.
One day when I was working on cards, I had heat embossed a bunch of the sentiments from the Sparkle and Shine stamp set. I had some left over and added a few to a card front. Very simple but I love the change up of colors.
