Cards Honey Bee Stamps Shimmer Powders

Honey Bee Stamps Autumn Afternoon Blog Hop

Welcome everyone! The new release from Honey Bee Stamps is now available and we are celebrating with a 2-day blog hop!

I’m kicking it off with the Harvest Blooms stamp set. One of my favorite things to do with a large background is use Shimmer Powders.

I stamped my background onto Tim Holtz watercolor paper with embossing ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

After taping my panel down to a board, I sprayed it lightly with water and then sprinkled on Lilac Waterfall Shimmer Powder. I added a few more spritzs of water to spread out the powder and let it dry.

Once dry, I trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added to a white card base with foam tape.

I used the Blessed Honeycut and die cut it from gold glitter card stock.

I added a small sentiment strip underneath using the Blessed stamp set.

Hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
