Cards Ink Blot Shop Teacher Gifts

Ink Blot Shop Release

Welcome everyone! Today I sharing some inspiration from Ink Blot Shop’s new release! Tiffany was so wonderful to send me some goodies to play with. Have you checked out Ink Blot Shop before? They have some amazing products!

My first card features the new Fallish Borders and Farm Friends set. I masked off the barn from Farm Friends so I could add the Sunflowers behind it. Then colored the images with copic markers.

And let me just say, I love their fonts on the sentiments which comes from the Greetings To You stamp set.

They are also releasing some great Teacher sets and I’m a total fan of that!

I have a background I created with Distress Inks and once dry, I stamped the Lined Paper Background.

Then I added some sentiments from the newly released Teacher Greeting stamp set. There are some great messages on here for teachers and they totally deserve it!

I also have a very clean and simple card using the Teacher Greetings stamp set.

  1. A big thank-you to you, Mindy! Most teachers are really suffering right now. This is not limping to the finish line of a year already 3/4 in the books. This is trying to start out the year and not knowing students yet. Who are the responsible ones? Who cheats? Whose parents are constantly sitting and watching that online gradebook and will email you if that student’s average drops below 90? Which students really try hard and just need a little more help? Which ones could be terrific if they just put a little more effort into the course? How do I connect these 5-6 cables to the camera? How do I manage a video call and sharing my screen and an extended screen (aka the large screen that is ceiling-mounted)? How do I take attendance w/ the kids dropping off the video chat and then popping back in b/c the school’s bandwidth may not be enough for every kid in the district to be on it at the same moment? We’re facing an awful lot of stress right now. Year 28 and I feel like I am acquiring an anxiety condition – no lie.

Thanks for thinking of us and sharing that beautiful teacher card.
