Cards Distress Oxide Inks Embossing My Favorite Things

Trapped Emboss Resist with MFT

Welcome friends! I’m excited to share a card today featuring the Trapped Emboss Resist Technique. I’ve used this technique before but with White pigment ink. Today, I’m adding bright, vibrant color for a more dramatic look.

I have a full tutorial over on the MFT Youtube channel so be sure to check it out!

I am using the Loosley Lined Flowers for my background and Rainbow Greetings for the sentiment.

My first layer of ink includes Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Inks.

I’ll then clear heat emboss the Loosely Lined Background which traps the color. Next I’ll add Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Candied Apple and Fired Brick Distress Oxide inks over the top with a blending brush.

Look how cool those colors look trapped by the clear embossing powder!

I love how this came out ! I hope you’ll check out the video HERE.

There is also some super savings going on over at MFT! ONE DAY ONLY!
