Frosty Kit from Taylored Expressions VIDEO + 3 Cards

Welcome friends! Today I’m sharing some inspiration using the new Frosty Card Kit from Taylored Expressions. If you are looking to get a jump start for your holiday cards – this is IT!

I have a video sharing the contents of the kit and creating 3 cards from start to finish. You can check out the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Here’s a look at the entire contents of the kit.

One of the first cards I create is this simple yet adorable card! The background is stamped in Oreo ink with the bands of the hat stamped in Strawberry Milkshake, Cookie Monster and Lime Zest.

I also added the coordinating stencil to the background with Cookie Monster ink and a blending brush.

I used coordinating pieces of cardstock to white heat emboss the sentiments and attach to to the front of the card with foam squares.

This would be a great one to mass produce!

My next card is using Lime Zest cardstock and stamping the background in Lime Zest ink for a tone-on-tone look.

I used the coordinating dies included in the kit to cut out the bodies and heads and add to the front of the card.

This would be really cute to make as many snowmen as there are in your family.

One last card, I ventured out of the kit and added a stencil from my personal collection.

Using the Masking Stencil Rectangle, I ink blended on Cookie Monster ink with a blending brush. Then added the Winter’s Beauty Stencil over the top of the masking stencil and blended that on with Cookie Monster, Blue Raspberry and Jelly Donut ink.

While the stencil is still in place, I spray it with Sparkle Shimmer Spray.

After it’s dry, I stamp on a sentiment and add the snowman with foam squares and a dot runner.

Any extra pieces or backgrounds, I put into the zipper pouch that my kit came in and save for a later time.

One of the things I love about these card kits is there is very little thinking involved. Everything coordinates together so all you need is a little ink and some cardstock.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration. Be sure to check out my video HERE for more details.
