Cards Foiling Gina K Designs

Gina K Designs June 2020 Release Blog Hop Day 2 + GIVEAWAY

Welcome back to Day 2 of the Gina K Designs blog hop featuring the June 2020. Today we’ll be sharing inspiration using the new stamp sets Baby Girl, Baby Boy, Graceful Greenery and Free To Flourish.

Here is a look at the new two new baby stamp sets. A lot of these sentiments could be used either way which makes them more versatile.

My first card is really easy to create. I created a background by foiling the Polka Dots Party Foil-Mates background with Twinkling Pink Foil. Then I ink blended Passionate Pink over the top with a Life Changing Blender Brush.

I trimmed this panel down using the new Master Layouts 1 set and added to a white card base using foam tape.

I added a butterfly from the Petals & Wings Stamp set that I stamped in Innocent Pink and Bubblegum Ink.

To add a little contrast to the card, I heat embossed a sweet sentiment from the Baby Girl stamp set in white embossing powder onto black card stock. Then trimmed down to a thing strip.

I attached the sentiment to the front of the card using a dot runner and added the butterfly using foam squares.

Here is a card I shared earlier this week using the Baby Boy stamp set.

Next we have the Free to Flourish stamp set.

I really fell in the love with the image that looks like a frame. I stamped the image in Obsidian ink and then masked off around the edges with Masking Magic. I ink blended a rainbow of Gina’s colors onto the background of my frame.

I colored in the edges of frame with copics and then used the coordinating die to cut it out the image . Using my Misti tool and Obsidian Ink, I stamped the hands image from Hands of Love stamp set which can be found in the Nature’s Touch card kit. I also added this simple sentiment inside my frame.

I attached the frame to a piece of white card stock using foam squares and then added to a card base made from Whisper card stock

The next set we are featuring today is the Graceful Greenery stamp set.

For my card, I heat embossed the image in white embossing powder onto Applemint card stock.

I then ink blended Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks. I wanted my sentiment to pop a little so I stamped it onto white card stock and trimmed it down to fit in the middle of the image.

I finished it off by adding some of the new Dazzling Diamond Rhinestones with my Connect glue and a jewel picker.

He is another card that I shared last week using all the same colors except it was heat embossed onto white card stock.
