It’s no secret I love Altenew products. For my card today, I chose the new Statement Flowers stamp set. It is the perfect image for watercoloring. I like to heat emboss my images in Gold embossing powder. It helps me contain my watercolors and I just love the look of the Gold.
I used the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers for my watercoloring. Once the image was dry, I ran through my Spellbinders Platinum 6 diecutting machine using the coordinating die.
To add a little more interest to the background, I stamped the new Pinstripe Background from Concord & 9th onto white cardstock with Black ink. I am so glad I picked up this background stamp. It’s so versatile and so striking.
The sentiment I’m using is from the Sentiment Strips 2 stamp set from Altenew. I heat embossed it onto Black cardstock with Gold embossing powder to tie in the Gold from my image. After trimming down, I added to the card with foam squares.
