Alcohol inks Cards Simon Says Stamp

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge featuring Tim Holtz

It’s time for another Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge! I am so thrilled to be the in the Designer Spotlight for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .

This week’s challenge is themed Knock On Wood. Use woodgrain papers, embossing folders, stamps, paint effects, wood embellishments, anything wood related.

We are also featuring Tim Holtz products.

Be sure to head to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge post for more details how to enter and link up your cards! We’d love for you to play along.

What can I say, I would be lost without Tim Holtz products. His line takes up about 75% of my craft stash. One of my favorites is his alcohol ink line. Today I’m sharing a card I created using the new colors that were released.

I added Laguna, Boysenberry, Cobalt and Gilded Alloy to Yupo paper and moved the ink around with the Puffer tool and Rubbing Alcohol.

Playing with alcohol inks is so addicting and mesmerizing.

For easy clean up I worked on the Tim Holtz Glass Media mat.

I die cut the Thinking of You word die from Hero Arts out of plain White and Gold Glitter Cardstock. Then layered together with liquid glue and added to my card front.

I hope you’ll join us this week! Do you use Instagram ?  If so please add  #ssswchallenge so we can see your entries.

We would also like you to share pics of your creative moments, maybe with your children, or maybe just you having fun with your craft supplies.

Please use the hashtag  #SSSUnitedWeCraft as we all unite together in crafting!

As you may know, the  Simon Says Stamp Store is accepting new orders, but have longer shipping times for the moment due to the coronavirus. With this in mind we have made the difficult decision to suspend the $50 voucher for this challenge.

We know that many people are staying safe at home and we would love it if you would continue to enter the challenges and have fun! We are all in this together!
