Welcome everyone! It’s time for the Picket Fence Studios Release for April. I have a ton to share with you so buckle up!
I’m kicking it off with the new Face The Sun Stamp. I stamped the large floral in the bottom corner of a piece of Fabriano Artistico white watercolor paper using Versafine Ink.
I colored watercolored my image with the Karin Markers. I finsihed this card off by adding a sentiment from the stamp set Fireflies on a Warm Night.
Next we have the Whelk Shell Scene. This set is great for underwater scenes. I copic colored the image and die cut with the coordinating die.
I added it to a section that I ink blended with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide inks. The sentiment comes from the Never Faked A Sarcasm stamp set which I used a lot throughout my cards.
In the stencil collection this month we have this super cool Geo Pineapple! I combined Daffodil Yellow and Golden Rose Paper Glaze for the body of the pineapple and Leaf Green and Fern Green Paper Glaze for the top.
Once completely dry, I fussy cut my image out to add to a card front. I topped it off with a fun sentiment from the Never Faked a Sarcasm stamp set that I heat embossed in white onto black cardstock.
We also have the beautiful new Flowers Stencil. I ink blended Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple Distress Oxide inks with my Life Changing Blending Brushes.
This cute little sentiment comes from a previously released stamp set Tightening Her Bra Strap.
The new Stars stencil is very versatile! I made a few cards with this one but I’m just sharing one for now. I have a background that I created using Distress Oxide Spray and added the Stars stencil by combining Snowdrop White and Black Peony Paper Glaze. Combining these two colors gives this silver-ish look.
Using a circle die, I created a moon to add to the front of the card with a sentiment that I had stamped from the Face The Sun stamp set.
My last card to share features the Round and Round We Go stamp set. I stamped the image multiple times on different colors of cardstock and then trimmed those pieces into thin strips.
I arranged those strips on a white panel, switching between the colors. I finsihed off by adding a sentiment from the Never Faked A Sarcasm stamp set.
