Cards Simon Says Stamp Stencils

United We Craft Blog Party

Welcome everyone to the United We Craft Blog Party! Times are pretty chaotic right now but that gives us plenty of time to craft right?! I have some inspiration to share with you today featuring Simon Says Stamp. I hope you take some time for YOU, head to your craft room and create. If you share it on Instagram, be sure to use the hashtags #SSSUnitedWeCraft and #simonsaysstamp because we’d love to see!

Today I’m using the Daffodil Stem Wafer Die. Now I know this is out of stock at the moment, but you can always click the “Notify Me” button so when it comes back in, you’ll get notified.

I will also link to a few other dies that would work for my card inspiration. Also, dig through your stash. This is a great time to play with products that are collecting dust on the shelves.

I actually used scraps on my first card. This rainbow was a background that I created using a swiping technique with Alcohol Inks on Silver Sparkle Alcohol Ink cardstock. This is a left over piece I just couldn’t part with and it sure came in handy for this card.

My Daffodil is cut 3 times from white card stock and adhered together with liquid glue. Then just attached to the front panel. I added a sentiment from the CZ Designs Sentiment Strips. They are preprinted on Black cardstock so all I had to do was trim it down and attach to the front of my card. Easy Peasy!

My next card is quite simple to create. I ink blended a Plaid Stencil onto Sweet Corn cardstock with Sweet Corn Ink from Gina K Designs. Then trimmed down the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added to a white A2 notecard.

I, once again, stacked my die but die cutting it 3 times from white cardstock and layering together with liquid glue. This creates nice dimension without too much of a lift.

I finished off by adding another Sentiment Strip that I trimmed from the CZ Designs Sentiment Strips. These are great because there is no stamping involved and there is a great variety of sentiments to choose from.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and you find some time to de-stress and get crafty!
