Altenew Build-A-Flower: Torch Ginger Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Welcome back everyone! It’s time for a new release in the Build-A-Flower series from Altenew. This month if the amazing Torch Ginger Layering stamp set. We are celebrating today with a blog hop filled with inspiration and prizes which I’ll go into more detail down below.

I used the Red Cosmos ink set to stamp my layering images for my first card. Then used the coordinating die to cut them out.

My background was created by ink blending just the leaves from the Rose Bouquet stencil onto white cardstock with Grass Field ink.

I squished the Shadow Creek ink pad down onto my craft mat, spritzed with water and flicked this mixture onto the background for some added interest. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment using my Misti tool.

Then attached the flowers onto my background with a tape runner.

For my next card, I stamped only a couple of the layers onto white cardstock using Rose Quartz and Puffy Heart inks.

I masked off a corner of an A2 size panel and ink blended Sunray Ink with blending brushes. When ink blending, I started dark in the corner and had the ink fade off as I blended towards the middle of the card.

I finished off with a sentiment stamped in Black ink and attaching my flower with foam squares.

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $30 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog for a chance to win. We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below.
