Welcome everyone! Today I’m sharing inspiration using the February 2020 Release from Gina K Designs. We are celebrating with an Instagram Hop so be sure to head over to my Instagram and check that out! There are prizes to be won!
I’m kicking it off with the beautiful Kindness Wreath stamp set. Coloring florals can be intimidating so instead I did some ink blending. I used Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide inks.
Once the panel was completely dry, I heat embossed the wreath using Gold embossing powder. To add just a little shimmer, I went over the images with a Shimmer Pen.
Next I have a card featuring the Simply Circular stamp set. I created my own patterned background by stamping the wreath image onto Jelly Bean Green card stock with Jelly Bean Green Ink.
I used a die cut heart as a center piece for my sentiment that I added from the Wrapped in Love stamp set from a previous release.
Once again, I’m sharing how you can incorporate florals into your cards without having to color them in. I just stamped these flowers from the Stately Flowers 13 stamp set in black ink and fussy cut out. No coloring. No ink blending.
I added them straight to a background I created by ink blending the Thick Brush stencil onto Powder Blue card stock with Powder Blue ink for a tone on tone look.
The sentiment is from the Woodland Whimsy stamp set. You can see I’m a big fan on the skinny sentiments!
My last card is very clean and simple. These images I did color in with my copic markers. They are from the Woodland Whimsy stamp set.
