Gina K Designs February 2020 Release Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome everyone to Day 1 of the Gina K Designs February Release Blog Hop! Over the next two days, we will be sharing inspiration with you and don’t forget to leave comments along the way to enter the giveaway! More about that later in the post.

First off we are sharing the new State Flowers 13 by Melanie. This finishes off the entire collection of State Flowers. This is a large 6″ x 8″ stamp set filled with images and sentiments.

I used a very simple design for my card featuring one of the floral branches in the set. There are no coordinating dies with this but I found this image very easy to fussy cut out after I copic colored it.

I had die cut a circle window from white card stock and behind my window is a background I ink blended with Distress Oxide inks.

I finished it off with a sentiment from the new Just Because stamp set.

Next we have a fun new set from Beth. This is the Simply Circular stamp set which is a 4″ x 6″ stamp set filled with cool circular designs. These would be great for the wreath builder too!

I thought this set would be fun to pair with the Sun Spots Stencil. I went very monochromatic with this card by ink blending Dusty Rose and Passionate Pink onto Layering White card stock using blending brushes and the Sun Spot Stencil.

I heat embossed one of the circular designs onto Passionate Pink card stock and used a circle die from collection to cut it out. I also heat embossed a sentiment from the Friendship Blooms stamp set in the center.

Don’t forget there is a new incentive set this month! Spend $75 and you will receive the new Friendship Flower stamp set.

I love your hello sweet friend card that you created. I love how it’s all in one color. I love that you used as simple to create the background and put the sentiment on a circle die. Very beautiful.
