Liquid Watercolors from Hero Arts: Orange Blossoms

Welcome everyone! Have you tried watercoloring with Liquid Watercolors from Hero Arts? I’ve played with these a few times and love the vibrancy of them! Today I’m watercoloring the new Orange Blossom set.

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I knew the second I saw this set that I wanted to watercolor them. I stamped the cluster of oranges onto Fabriano Artistico Watercolor card stock with Versafine Ink and then heat embossed Sparkle Embossing Powder.

I used Orange, Leaf and Jungle Mist Liquid Watercolors from Hero Arts to watercolor the image.

For the background, I’m using the Rectangle Masking Stencil from Taylored Expressions and ink blending Fruit Punch and Creamsicle Reactive Inks. I splattered the background with clean water and also flicks of White Glimmer Ink. Be sure to check out the video for a full tutorial.

I finished off the card by attaching my Orange cluster with foam squares to the card front. This fun sentiment that I heat embossed in White onto Black card stock is also from the Orange Blossoms set.

I adore the tone-on-tone colors that I used. Really makes me think of summer even though I do not live in a region that grows oranges.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration and How-To video. Thanks for stopping by!
