Altenew Cards Stencils

Altenew February 2020 Stencils/Decals/Stand-Alone Dies Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Welcome everyone! I’m excited to be joining Altenew in celebrating the February 2020 Stencils/Decals and Stand Alone Dies with a blog hop! I have tons of inspiration to share with you today. I’ll have the supplies and blog hop information listed down below.

Stencils! You know I love stencils! My first card is featuring the new Bursting Dahlia stencil. I used it to create a background by ink blending Midnight Violet, Deep Iris and Lavender Fields onto Lavender card stock.

After trimming the panel down and adding to a white card base, I added a few jewels using liquid glue. Keeping the card clean and simple, I die cut the NEW Bold Greetings from white card stock and topped off with an Aqua Shimmer Pen for sparkle.

Next we have the Dotted Starburst Debossing Cover Plate. This creates an amazing design on the front of your card. After running through my die cut machine, I lightly ink blended Coral Berry, Sunkissed, Buttercream and Dew Drop inks.

I added to the front of my card, the Fancy For You sentiment that I die cut from white card stock. I love the beautiful script of this font.

Also from this release is the Fine Frame Diamonds. This die cuts a very delicate diamond shape in a variety of sizes. I die cut them from some bright colors and added the thin frames to my card front. I added the Hello Bold Greeting that I die cut from Black card stock.

What’s really awesome is you can get two cards out of diecutting the Fine Frame Diamonds. Using the solid pieces from the previous card, I used the same clean design for my card front.

For my last card, I went full on Lisa Frank! I tapped into my inner teenager and went bold and bright for the Wild Leopard Stencil. This color combination is truly the perfect rainbow of colors. I ink blended Coral Berry, Snapdragon, Maple Yellow, Parrot, Aqualicious and Deep Iris.

I needed a really good black to layer onto of all that color so I ink blended the Obsidian Black Ink with the Wild Leopard Stencil.

I always have so much fun playing with stencils! I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration!
