Altenew Artist Markers Cards Watercolors

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Rose Release Blog Hop & Giveaway

Welcome everyone! Today we are celebrating the release of the new Paint-A-Flower Rose with a blog hop filled with inspiration and a giveaway! I have two cards I’ll be sharing with you today.

For my first card, I did some watercoloring. Watercoloring is something I’ve been enjoying lately and it definitely gets easier the more you practice.

I stamped the image in clear ink onto Fabriano Artistico White watercolor paper and heat embossed with Gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the image with the new Artist Watercolors set from Altenew.

Once the panel was dry, I trimmed it down with an A2 Layering die. I ink blended Word Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink around the edges and then flicked on some Red & Gold Metallic watercolors.

I mounted the panel to an A2 size white card base using a tape runner. I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in Gold onto Black cardstock and attaching with foam tape.

There is also a smaller Rose image on this set. I stamped the image in copic friendly ink and colored with Altenew Alcohol Markers. This is my first time using the alcohol markers and I will admit, I love them! They blend very well and I love how the colors all coordinate with eachother.

I kept the card clean and simple and just added a sentiment underneath by stamping it with my Misti.

The Paint-A-Flower sets are amazing for any coloring medium.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration.
