Introducing Paper Glaze – Picket Fence Studios Release + Video

Welcome everyone! Today the new release from Picket Fence Studios is now available! There are some amazing new products being released including Paper Glaze! WARNING: This is very picture-heavy post. I may have gotten a little carried away. I’ll be sharing tons of cards featuring the new Paper Glaze including a video that I put together.

You can check out my new video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

I will have the whole release listed below but today’s post is going to be focusing on the new Paper Glaze. I go into more detail in my video how I created the cards so be sure to check that out.

Paper Glaze is a really fun medium to play. I gravitate towards using it with stencils but you can also dilute it to watercolor with. It has an amazing prize point and has a pearlescent shine to it. It’s also very smooth and creamy which makes it easy to apply.

This card is featuring the Snowdrop White Paper Glaze applied to Pixie Dust cardstock using the Fancy Flourishes stencil. All of my cards are finished off using the Fancy Sentiments stamp set stamped in Black Hybrid ink.

I think this may be my favorite. While I made it into a Thank You card, this would be a perfect Anniversary or Wedding card.

The yellow, which is Daffodil Yellow, was probably the most shocking. It looks amazing on the light yellow glitter cardstock.

I’m also using the Fancy Flourishes here which I sprayed with Pixie Spray to lightly adhere to my cardstock.

Next I have Peony Pink on Hot Pink Glitter cardstock. The paper glaze gives such an amazing pearlescent shine.

Here we have the Funky Leaves with the Leaf Green Paper Glaze.

Amazing result!

Another one that shocked me was the Brown Dahlia on the Brown Glitter cardstock.

Another one of my favorites is the Ocean Poppy. Below I used it with the Fancy Flourishes but this is going to look amazing for ocean scenes.

This one might stop you in your tracks. The Black Pansy on Black glitter cardstock using the Scrolls stencil. Striking!

These also look beautiful on regular cardstock as well and actually it doesn’t take as long to dry. I found it took a lot longer for the glaze to dry on the glitter cardstock then regular cardstock.

This card using the Fancy Flourishes stencil with Ocean Poppy Paper Glaze on Arctic cardstock, which is light blue.

I finished it off with a circle in the center and the Hello Word Die cut from white cardstock.

This card is what started it all. I used the Golden Rose Paper Glaze on Gold Glitter cardstock. After I finished this card, I was inspired to try all the colors on a variety of glitter cardstock.

One more card created NOT on glitter cardstock was this one. I used the darker green Paper Glaze on light green cardstock. Tone on tone is always fun to play with.
