Cards Gina K Designs

Gina K Designs January 2020 Release Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaway

Welcome back everyone! Are you ready for Day 2 of inspiration featuring the Gina K Designs January Release?! I have more to share!

My first card is featuring the new You Anchor Me stamp set. This is truly a beautiful set. Instead of stamping the image of the anchor, I used the coordinating die and die cut it twice from white card stock. Then layered it together with liquid glue.

On a piece of Layering white cardstock measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″, I ink blended Sea Glass and Sandy Beach Ink with a Life Changing Blending Brush. Then attached to a white card base with the Gina K Designs dot runner.

I stamped the flowers onto white cardstock with the Amalgam Obsidian ink, colored with copic markers and cut out with the coordinating die.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed it in white embossing powder onto In The Navy cardstock and die cut out with the banner die. I attached my flower and leaves behind the banner with Connect glue and added to my card front with foam squares.

Here is a look at the 6″ x 8″ stamp set You Anchor Me.

Next, I have the Massive Peony stamp set. I adore Hannah’s florals. Not only is she a brilliant designer but her coloring is outstanding! I attempted to no-line water color this image and posted my progress in my Instagram stories but I won’t lie – I was struggling. So for now, I put it off on the side and did what I was comfortable with and that was coloring with my Zig markers.

I heat embossed the image onto Bristol Smooth cardstock with Champagne Embossing Powder and Embossing Ink. Then used my Zig markers to watercolor the image.

Once dry, I stamped the sentiment in Obsidian ink, trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and attached to a white card base.

Here is a closer look at this gorgeous stamp set.

Last but not least is the Look For the Rainbows stamp set. This has a couple cute rainbow images and a bunch of beautiful handwritten sentiments. I focused on the sentiments for my card.

I used the Sunspot Stencil with a rainbow mix of Glitz Glitter Gels on Heavy Weight White cardstock to create my background. This is actually a spare background I had created back in the summer and had saved. I thought it would be perfect for this new stamp set.

I had trimmed the background down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and attached to a white card base.

The sentiment is stamped in Obsidian Black ink and die cut out with a heart die. I added to the center of my card using foam squares.

Here’s a closer look at this fun stamp set!

Don’t forget the new Scripty Encouragement Incentive set you can get FREE with a $75 purchase.
