Gina K Designs January 2020 Release Blog Hop Day 1 + Giveaway

Welcome everyone! It’s time to celebrate the January 2020 Release from Gina K Designs with a blog hop filled with inspiration and prizes!

VIDEO DETAILS

I have a video that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel using a fun technique that I learned from Jennifer McGuire. It’s a DIY Ink Pad technique that looks amazing with the new Embroidered Flowers stamp set from Melanie.

Here’s a look at the entire stamp set. This is a large 6″ x 8″ stamp set filled to the gills with images, versatile sentiments and foliage. There is also a coordinating die you can purchase separately.

For my card, I’m using Heavy Weight White cardstock and Tranquil Teal cardstock.

The reinkers that I’ll be using for this technique are Tranquil Teal, Sea Glass, Sweet Corn, Grass Green and Lucky Clover. The secret element to creating these beautiful two-tone flowers is a baby wipe. Be sure to watch the video for all the juicy details!

After trimming my pattern panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″, I will cut it an angle. Using this panel as a guide, I can line up my sentiment in my Mini Misti and stamp on another 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of white cardstock.

Such a fun technique and I love the results!

Below is another card I created using the same stamp set and design but stamping the images in Dusty Rose and Jelly Bean Green ink.

I used Innocent Pink cardstock as a base to tie in my pinks.

Also being featured today on the blog hop is the Happy Hearts stamp set from Beth. I love Beth’s clean and simple designs. This is a 4″ x 6″ stamp set and also has a coordinating die that you can purchase separately.

I fell in love with this dotted heart image. I overlapped the image by stamping in Passionate Pink ink. The Scripty Encouragement sentiment is stamped in the Obsidian Black ink.

For the bottom of my card, I cut thin strips of Red Velvet, Passionate Pink and Bubblegum Pink cardstock. Using the dot runner, I laid down some adhesive and attached the strips down.

Such a clean and simple design but I just adore this image.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration! We have two more days to share with you so be sure to check back.

Don’t forget to check out my video HERE on the DIY Ink Pad technique.
