Welcome everyone! I’m looking through un-needed costs and I am going to be moving away from using MailChimp. MailChimp is a marketing platform that I use. If you are new to my blog, a form with MailChimp will pop up asking if you’d like to sign up to be notified of new posts. You may have signed up that way.
This is subscription based that I have to pay for and after some experimenting and looking back on my end, I don’t use it to its’ full potential and honestly probably never will.
With that thought, I’m going to discontinue the service.
There is another way through WordPress (my blog platform) to follow which, from what I’ve tested out, you will get an email as soon as I put out a new blog post. In my opinion, you are keep up-to-date in more real time.
If you scroll to the bottom of my blog at any time, the middle column is where you can sign up to be notified of any new posts that I make. I am following my own blog but otherwise, it will give you a space to enter your email address.
According to my MailChimp account, there are 1200 people following me through that subscription. I am hoping that this post reaches everyone. If you want to continue to follow me, please sign up at the bottom of the blog.
I’m going to give this a couple weeks and then discontinue the MailChimp service. Unfortunately, you may get two notifications from until I shut down MailChimp and I apologize for that inconvenience.

Thanks for the heads up. Since they increased their prices, I have many friends moving away from them. I have used Feedblitz for years and really love their service, it’s not free, but it’s excellent and they also have a newsletter program that works well with their subscription service. Best of luck with the change over
