CARD DETAILS

First up I created a new card featuring the Perfect Blend stamp set. I used the coffee cup (that’s what I’m calling it because that’s what I drink) to create my own background. I’m a big fan of creating my own backgrounds.

I stamped the image multiple times on a 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white cardstock using a comfort block and the Obsidian Ink. Then I colored in my cups with copic markers. The color combination I used is R59, R39, R37, & R35. I also used C3, C2 & C1 for the lid and label in the middle of the cup.

In between my design, I stamped snowflakes from the Dashing stamp set using Fresh Asparagus ink. I added a drop of Cloud 9 Dream Drops to the center of the snowflakes.

For the sentiment, I stamped Holiday Wishes from the Dashing stamp set in embossing ink on a piece of Cherry Red card stock. Then sprinkled on gold embossing powder and heat set. I should note that I always prep my card stock with an anti-static powder tool before stamping.

After I heat set, I die cut out my sentiment with the Double Stitched Rectangles die. I added the sentiment to my card panel with foam squares to give it some dimension.

My next card is featuring one of my favorite stamp sets! To The Moon & Back can be used in so many different ways! We are in the holiday season right now but it can be used any time through out the year!

For my next card, I used the coordinating die of the moon to die cut a mask using Masking Magic. I also cut out my own snowy hill masks with some scissors. I started by attaching my first snowy hill mask towards the top of my 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ white panel made from Layering White card stock. Next I attached the moon mask.

I then ink blended Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink towards the top of my card using my Life Changing Blender Brushes. Once I was happy with my blending, I removed the mask of the moon.

Leaving the mask on for the hill, I placed my card stock in my Misti to stamp the moon using Powder Blue ink from Gina K Designs. I inked my stamp, stamped off on a scratch piece of paper and then stamped onto my card panel. This is second generation stamping. I repeated this step once more. This provides a very light blue.

For the second layer of the image, I stamped directly onto the moon using the Powder Blue Ink. Once my moon was stamped, I removed the mask for my top hill. This makes it look like my moon is coming up from behind a snowy hill.

I had created a couple more masks for hills and attached them to my card front. I lightly ink blended Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink, keeping the blending as close to the mask as possible, leaving most of the hill white.

After the ink blending was done and masks removed, I stamped the deer from the Dashing stamp set.

To change it up a little bit, I added a birthday sentiment. Unfortunately, this sentiment is from a stamp set that was a giveaway at an event I attended and not available on the website but any sentiment would work here.

Feel free to pin these to your Pinterest boards!

Here are a few more cards I created last year and earlier this year using the Perfect Blend and To The Moon & Back stamp sets.
