Cards Christmas Distress Oxide Inks Neat and Tangled

Neat & Tangled November 2019 Release Day 4 + GIVEAWAY!

Welcome back to Day 4 of inspiration using the November 2019 Release from Neat & Tangled! I hope you’ve been enjoying all the ideas I’ve been sharing this week.

The release is available NOW for purchase too! You can pick it up HERE (clickable link).

CARD DETAILS

My card today has a softer feel to it. I started by stamping the Holiday Wishes background stamp on Fog cardstock with embossing ink. Then heat embossing with White embossing powder.

I trimmed the bottom portion off at an angle and attached to a white A2 size card base. I also went ahead and stamped a sentiment from the Classic Christmas stamp set by masking off the words to stack them.

On a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock, I heat embossed the poinsettia image from the Classic Christmas stamp set twice in Champagne embossing powder. I ink blended one of the images in Pine Needles Distress Oxide ink and the other image in Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink.

I used the coordinating die to cut out the image in green. For the image in red, I fussy cut just the flower petals. Then I stacked the two together using foam squares and added to my card front.

For a little more interest and sparkle, I added some Crystal Clear Sequins with Connect glue. Then I topped off the sequins with Gold Luxe Dreams Drops.
