CARD DETAILS

My post today isn’t actually storage related (waiting for my new goodies to arrive!) but… I do have something pretty amazing to share with you. Introducing the NEW Premium Palette Paper. Let me tell ya… I love it!

If you follow me you know I love to ink blend and ink blending on the Waffle Flower Media Mat is amazing! The card stock doesn’t move all over the place because of the silicone mat but…. I’m kind of an OCD neat freak. It would take me forever to clean up my mat between colors and sometimes colors would stain. Will the stain hurt my project? No. But it bothered me. I also like to show clean products in my video and I couldn’t get the pink out. Here’s the answer!

The Premium Palette Paper comes in a tear-off pad that contains 30 sheets of waterproof synthetic paper to protect your work surface. Premium white color; Compatible with our Water Media Mat; No beading nor buckling when use as a palette for water media; can be inked, folded and die cut for paper crafting and gift wrapping.

Now what does all that mean? It means no staining on my mat. This is kind of like a portable work surface. You tear it off and place it on your Media Mat. Work your magic on your project and when done you can throw it away or save it for another project.

Hard to see but I have the Palette Paper on my Media mat. I’m also using Distress Oxides for my project today which doesn’t really stain the mat but it can be time consuming to wipe it up. You’ll see more of the staining using Dye inks.

I go crazy ink blending my background using a Life Changing Blender Brush with Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks.

Once I’m done, I can toss it. The card stock doesn’t really slide around on this paper either and works great for ink blending on.

So here is my completed card using the background shown above. I splattered the background with Metallic Watercolor from Altenew.

I die cut trees from Pixie Dust card stock using the Cozy Cabin die set.

These cute little guys that I stamped in copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers is from the NEW Winter Hamster stamp set. I love this new stamp/die set. Instead of die cutting a ton of little individual images, they are laid out to stamp in groups and then you can die cut that group all at once.

Another product being released today is the Disc Bound Products. These are fantastic and cannot wait to play with them. Be sure to check out the intro video that Waffle Flower created to see how they work. You can find that video HERE (clickable link).
