Welcome everyone! The new Essentials by Ellen November 2019 Release is now available for purchase! I have some inspiration to share with you today.
I’ll start off by sharing my card for the Up In The Air stamp set and coordinating die.
I stamped my images in copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers onto Neenah Solar White card stock. Then used the coordinating die to cut out my images.
For my front panel, I ink blended Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink with a Life Changing Blending Brush. I attached my images with Gina K Designs dot liner and the silhouette of people I attached with foam squares. I trimmed off anything over hanging on the card.
I then attached the front panel that is cut to 3 3/4″ x 5″ to a white A2 size card base using craft foam and liquid glue.
Next is the beautiful Be The Change stamp set. I looked to Jennifer McGuire for inspiration on the card design. She has a video (HERE) featuring a tri-fold card that I incorporated into my design.
The images are stamped on the second panel with copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. I didn’t do any shading with my markers but did add Shimmer Pen for some sparkle. This panel opens up to a third panel where you can write a special message.
I realized afterwards how amazing the sentiments worked with this particular card design.
I also love the unique look of these butterflies.
