CARD DETAILS

I started my card by actually die cutting the image first. Then using my negative piece, I held my die cut image in place with a little bit of purple tape. It is easier to stamp my layering images this way.

I lined my images up in my Misti tool to stamp the layers in various Altenew colors. Then I set off on the side to work on my background.

I masked off the edges with some post it tape and ink blended Wisteria, Hydrangea and Ultraviolet inks. Then I mixed some water with Liquid Stardust onto my craft surface and flicked it onto my background with a paintbrush.

After removing my masked area, I realized a few droplets had gotten under my post it tape. To fix that I went around the edges with an embossing pen and heat embossed silver embossing powder to frame my ink blended area.

I finished off the card by heat embossing the sentiment in silver onto black card stock and fussing cutting. Then added to the front of the card with foam squares.

My second card was fairly easy. I had stamped the Build-A-Flower Lavender in a variety of colors from Altenew. I attached my images to a piece of white woodgrain card stock.

I finished off my card by die cutting the word “Friend” three times from black card stock and attached to the front of my card.

I hope you enjoyed today’s inspiration.
