Cards Christmas Gina K Designs

Gina K Designs October 2019 Release

Welcome everyone! It’s time for the October 2019 release from Gina K Designs and it is jam packed with amazing new products! I have a ton of inspiration to share with you over the next few days so buckle up.

I’m going to kick off this party with a video for my first card.

VIDEO DETAILS

You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

For my first card I’m using the new You Warm My Heart stamp set. I stamped my mountain outline in Stormy Sky ink onto Whisper card stock. Then I added the snow caps layer and heat embossed it in white embossing powder.

I created a mask for my mountain using Masking Magic and also created a mask for my moon from the stamp set To The Moon & Back. Then ink blended a night sky using Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks.

After removing my moon mask, I stamped the moon image in Whisper ink and Soft Stone.

When I removed the mountain mask, I stamped the beautiful silhouette trees in Stormy Sky, Slate and Obsidian Ink.

The sentiment comes from the new stamp set Christmas Scripts. I heat embossed it in gold embossing powder.

My next card is very clean and simple. I am using the Christmas Silhouettes stamp set. I stamped the tree in Turquoise Sea ink onto Turquoise Sea card stock.

Once dry, I heat embossed the sentiment from the Christmas Silhouettes stamp set in Silver Embossing Powder.

Great clean and simple card to recreate this holiday season.

My next card I had a little fun with. I made a bunch of water color background ones night. I love how this one came out so I stamped the Folk Art Snowflakes around the edge of the card stock with clear ink. Then heat embossed in Gold and Silver embossing powders.

The sentiment is stamped in the middle and heat embossed with white embossing powder. My panel is trimmed down and added to a white card base.

The next card is featuring the Pallet Christmas stamp set and I took a totally different approach to this card. There are a ton of amazing small elements on this stamp set. I decided to stay with clean and simple and stamped the sentiment in clear ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto Cherry Red card stock.

I stamped a few of those images under the sentiment and heat embossed in silver embossing powder.

After the sentiments were done, I ink blended the edges with Red Velvet and Chocolate Truffle ink using my Life Changing Blender Brushes.

I may have gotten a little carried away on this next card featuring the Snowflake Mandala stencil.

I started by temporarily adhering my stencil to Black card stock and then applying Bubblegum Glitz Glitter gel to the center and spread out slightly towards the edges.

Next, I added White Glitz Glitter Gel, blending the two colors together and spreading out the rest of the card.

Once dry, I die cut the panel with a layering rectangle die and added my border to a piece of Silver card stock. The middle panel is attached to the center with foam tape for dimension.

I finished off the card by silver heat embossing a sentiment from the Pallet Christmas Stamp set onto Silver card stock.

Last but not least is this adorable snowman from the Winter Hugs stamp set.

I started by stamping out some trees from the Holiday Trees stamp set in Key Lime, Turquoise Sea and Passionate Pink ink. Then using the coordinating die to cut them out.

I stamped the snowman image onto white card stock with Obsidian black ink and colored with copic markers.

I stenciled in a circle on my background using Powder Blue ink then layered my trees and snowman. I stamped a sentiment from the Winter Hugs stamp set in In The Navy ink to finish off my card.

Whew! Super fun release and I haven’t even showed you everything yet! Be sure to check back each day this week for more amazing inspiration and blog hops filled with prizes!

I bought the “You Warm My Heart” set as soon as I saw it! I love the trees and mountain design as I am a Rockies and northwest lady. What you did with it is outstanding! It is similar to scenes I’ve seen in this area. The other cards are inspiring, too, and show the diversity of themes an individual can do.
