VIDEO

I have a video to share today creating a simple but elegant card featuring the Dot Botanicals stamp set. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

For this first card featuring the Dot Botanicals stamp set, I started by ink blending a background using Tattered Rose, Worn Lipstick and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxides inks.

While these stamps are meant to line up, I thought it would fun to off set them. Using my Misti Tool I stamped the solid images in Obsidian Black Ink and sprinkled on Clear Embossing powder. After heat setting the clear embossing powder, I stamped the dot images in embossing ink and heat set with Silver embossing powder.

I trimmed the panel down to 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ and added to a white card base using craft foam and double sided adhesive. The sentiment is also from the Dot Botanicals stamp set. I heat embossed Silver on black card stock and added to the front of my card with black foam squares.

My next card is also featuring the Dot Botanical but this time I layered the images.

Using the solid images, I stamped a background onto white card stock and added to an A2 size card base made from Fog card stock.

For this card, I’m featuring the new 2020 stamp set. Are you ready for the new year? I’m not lol …

My background is created by ink blending a rainbow onto white card stock using the Milky Way Stencil.

I stamped the 2020 stamp set in Obsidian Black ink onto the card front.

This next card is a little more dramatic. Using a piece of Poppy Seed card stock, I inked up the edges using Black Distress Ink.

Then I embossed the 2020 stamp set with Gold Embossing Powder.

I finished off by spritzing on Altenew Iridescent spray across my entire background. Clean, simple and so striking!

Also being released is the Grateful Heart stamp set. I stamped my images in the Enchanted Garden and Tropical Forest ink collections. Then used the coordinating dies to cut them out with my Gemini Jr.

I used the Dot Botanicals stamp set to create a subtle background with Limestone ink. I trimmed the panel down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and added to a card base created from Poppy Seed card stock. I also heat embossed a sentiment in gold embossing powder onto Poppy Seed card stock to add to the center of my card.

I added my die cut images to the corner of the card front and added foam squares behind my flower for dimension.

I used a variety of ink collections from Altenew to stamp my floral images from the new Rose Blossoms stamp set.

For the background I die cut the Layered Snowflakes Cover Die B from white card stock and attached to another piece of white card stock. Then added my die cut images to the card front.

Lots of inspiration from the new release that I hope you enjoyed!
