VIDEO

I have a video to share today doing a quick walk through of the new release and creating a card start to finish. You can view the video down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

We are going to be creating some magic today with this new set. My image from the Moon Magic stamp set is stamped in embossing ink onto Arches Cold Press Watercolor card stock using my Misti Stamping Tool. Then heat embossed with Champagne Embossing Powder.

I water colored my image using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. For this card shown, I am using No.031 Cobalt Blue, No.032 Persian Blue, No. 084 Deep Violet and No. 902 Natural Gray. To do the watercoloring I’ll be using a Royal & Langnickel Zen No. 3 brush.

For my background, I ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide ink onto Neenah Solar White 80 lb card stock using blending brushes. I’m doing my ink blending on a Waffle Flower Media Mat which is Silicone mat and helps my paper stay in place.

After ink blending, I flicked on some watered down White Glimmer Metallic Ink from Hero Arts using a paint brush.

My sentiment is from the Moon Magic stamp set as well. I heat embossed it using Champagne Embossing Powder onto Pitch Black card stock and trimmed down.

Now you’ll notice I have two cards here. The one in front is the one I created in the video. The one in the background is my original version where I had used the Deep Purple for contrast. While I was coloring my image for the second time in the video, I decided to skip the purple and just deepen the blue with the Persian Blue.

This is the beauty of water coloring is nothing will ever come out exactly the same. They are very similar and while my husband couldn’t really tell the difference, I could.

I finished off my cards by adding the NEW Like Magic sequins mix with Lawn Fawn liquid glue. Then I topped off the sequins with Nuvo Dream Dots in Cloud 9 which almost look like pearls once dry.

I can’t wait to share what else I’ve been working on!

Remember, this release is available NOW! I’ll have more inspiration to share over the week but don’t miss out on this release because I have a feeling it will fly off the shelves! (see what I did there?! )
