I have two cards to share with you today because I was really enjoying coloring this image. This is the Beautiful as You stamp set. It is a 4″ x 6″ stamp set with a partial floral image with a line border. It also comes with a solid line and 5 lovely sentiments.
I stamped my floral image onto Arches Cold Press Watercolor card stock with Embossing Ink. Using the Misti tool, I stamped it three times to make sure I had a solid impression since this is a textured card stock. Then I heat set Champagne Embossing Powder.
I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to water color the image. The colors I used are No. 260 Deep Red, No. 080 Violet and No. 047 May Green.
I stamped the sentiment onto Black card stock with Embossing Ink. Then heat set with Champagne Embossing Powder to match my image. I trimmed my sentiment into a thin strip, adding a little slant to one end.
I then attached my sentiment to the front of the card with foam tape.
My next card is very similar but in a different orientation. I stamped and heat embossing the same as above.
I still used my Zig markers to watercolor. The colors I used were No. 061 Light Brown, No. 052 Bright Yellow, No. 260 Deep Red, No. 080 Violet, and No. 047 May Green.
To be completely honest, I stamped the image crooked on my card stock but didn’t notice until after I finished coloring. To save my hard work, I decided to hide the stamped line with a sentiment.
This sentiment also comes from the Beautiful as You stamp set. I stamped it in Embossing Ink on Black card stock. Then heat embossed with Champagne Embossing Powder.
I trimmed the sentiment down to a thin strip to match the size of my A2 size card front. Then attached the sentiment with foam tape. I was pretty happy with this save since I put so much work into the coloring.
