Cards Foiling Picket Fence Studios

Foiling and Ink Blending with Picket Fence Studios

Welcome everyone! I have a fun trick you can add to your foiled images. Have you ever tried ink blending over them? It’s a ton of fun and adds so much!

I am using the Peony Foiled Impression from Picket Fence Studios. I foiled the image in Gold onto white card stock and then used the coordinating die to cut it out. To do my foiling, I’m using my Gemini Foil Press Machine and Gemini Jr.

After I die cut the image out, I ink blended Spun Sugar Distress Oxide ink over the entire image. Then I added Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink over the center of the flower. The foil resists the ink so I’m able to buff off the excess ink with a cloth.

I add my foiled image to a white card panel measuring 3 3/4″ x 5″ and attach the panel with craft foam to an A2 size card base made from Innocent Pink card stock.

The sentiment is from the You Got This stamp set from Picket Fence Studio. I heat embossed it in white onto Black card stock and added to my card front.

I hope you’ll give this a try. It is a ton of fun and adds so much to your foiled images.
