CARD DETAILS
For my card today I’m using the ever-adorable Make Some Noise stamp set. This set is filled with little birdies ready to party. I stamped my images in copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. For some reason, I had chickies in my head which is why they are yellow so I decided to call these little birdies canaries.
After coloring my images with some fun party colors, I cut out with the coordinating die using my Spellbinders Platinum 6 machine.
I added a colorful sky by using a cloud stencil and ink blending on Wilted Violet, Salty Ocean, Twisted Citron, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick Distress Oxides inks. Using a Life Changing blender brush makes stenciling on soft clouds a breeze! (see what I did there?)
After adding my clouds, I squished some ink from each color onto my craft mat and spritzed each one with a little water. Then flicked on the color to my background with a paint brush for some added interest. I also added flicks of white metallic ink from Hero Arts.
After my panel was dry and I had figured out where my images would go, I stamped on my sentiment using Versafine Black ink.
I added my images to the card front with liquid adhesive and a couple of the canaries are popped up with foam squares.
Such a super fun birthday set!
