Gina K Designs September 2019 Release + Video

It’s that time again! We have a new Gina K Designs Release for you. It’s a bit smaller then last time but packs a huge punch!

VIDEO DETAILS

I have a super quick card tutorial to share with you today. This is a very clean and simple card but it is one of my favorites that I made from this release and wanted to also show you how I stamped the layering leaves. You can view the view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

CARD DETAILS

If you follow me, clean and simple is not normally my thing but I do love them! I’m getting a little better at leaving white space on my cards. Maybe that’s why this is one of my favorites.

This card features one of the Layered Leaf Prints stamp set from the Autumn Splendor card kit. I love the look of these leaves! I think one of the things I like best is you could stamp it crooked and it will still look good!

On a piece of white card stock, I stamped the first layer of the large leaf using Skeleton Leaves ink. I did one towards the bottom and one towards the top. You can tell which layer is the base because it will have the stem of the leaf.

Next, I stamped my layering images with the comfort blocks using Sea Glass, Tranquil Teal, Keylime, Fresh Asparagus, Sweet Corn and Honey Mustard. While I trusted myself to layer the images with comfort blocks, I dug out my Misti to do the sentiment in Obsidian Black Ink.

I also heat embossed the tiny Grateful sentiment onto Black card stock using Champagne embossing powder. Then added to my card front with black foam squares.

My next card is featuring the Colossal Cone Flowers set from the Autumn Wishes kit. I embossed my three separate images onto Arches Coldpress Watercolor paper with Champagne Embossing Powder.

I colored in my image with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers and a water brush. I used Bright Yellow, Orange, Light Green, Marine Green, Mid Brown and Beige for my zig colors.

After my image was dry, I ink blended the edges with Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. Using my Misti tool, I stamped the sentiment onto the front of the card with Gina K Designs Obsidian Black ink.

The card shown below is using the new Mandala Burst stencil included in the Autumn Splendor kit. This stencil is going to be a go-to for me, I just know it!

I ink blended the stencil towards the top of my card with Picked Raspberry, Dried Marigold and Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink using a Life Changing Blender Brush. The sentiment is from the Layered Leaf Prints stamp set. I heat embossed it onto Passionate Pink card stock with white embossing powder.

After I trimmed it down to a thin strip, I added to the front of my card with white foams.

Another new set being released is the Happy Fall stamp set. This stamp set is filled with beautiful sentiments and some small images.

I started by stamping my sentiment in the center of a piece of Fresh Asparagus card stock and heat embossed with Champagne Embossing Powder.

Then I randomly stamped the small leaf images around the sentiment in the same Champagne Embossing Powder. After the panel was cool and trimmed down, I ink blended the top portion of the card with Fresh Asparagus and Dark Sage ink.

I attached my card front to a white note card using craft foam for dimension.

We have a gorgeous new image stamp set! This one is called Majestic Peony. I am such a fan of Peonies stamp sets ! Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see how I colored it up!

For today’s card, I ink blended a white piece of card stock using the Sassy Stripes stencil. I used Candied Apple, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks.

Next, I stamped the gorgeous Peony to the center of the card front using Obsidian black ink. I added flicks of Liquid Stardust for some sparkle.

My last card I’m sharing is using the new incentive stamp set.

I heat embossed my image onto Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper with White embossing powder.

Then colored with my zig markers and a water brush.

This is the Santana Rose – isn’t it a beauty!

Be sure to stop by tomorrow for when we kick off the festivities with a blog hop and more inspiration!
