Altenew September 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release

Welcome everyone! I’m so thrilled to be joining in the Altenew September 2019 Release Blog Hop! I have tons of inspiration to share with you today! I will have the blog hop info at the end of this post.

If you came here from Lilith Eeckels blog you are in the right spot. If not you can always start at the beginning over on the Altenew Blog.

This card may be my favorite out of the entire release. I’m using the Festive Foliage stamp set. I love the versatility of the stamp set.

I used the full image and stamped it onto Lapis card stock with embossing ink. Then heat embossed with Sparkle Embossing Powder. I then ink blended the edges with Azurite ink, leaving the middle free of ink. This is one of my favorite techniques to do with cards.

My next card is featuring the Faceted Stars stamp set. I stamped the image onto Bristol Smooth card stock with Embossing ink. Then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I ink blended Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon, Blueprint Sketch and Chipped Sapphire Distress oxide inks. I spritzed with water and also flicked on some of the blueprint sketch ink for some added interest.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed in white onto Black card stock and trimmed down to add to my panel.

What a beauty this next set is! This is the Flower Garden stamp set. I randomly stamped the images onto Neenah Solar White card stock with copic friendly ink. Then colored with copic markers R59, R46, R27, and R14. For the leaves I used copic markers YG67, YG17, YG25, and YG23.

I trimmed the panel down and added to a black card base. So many different mediums that I could have used with this set. It’s perfect for almost any technique!

Also available is the Layered Snowflake Stars Cover Die A & B. These are sold separately and can work on their own or together. I die cut my layers from Peacock and Mermaid card stock and layered together with liquid adhesive.

I attached my layered piece to Pixie Dust card stock so I have this gorgeous sparkle showing through.

I created a beautiful scene using the Birch Impressionism stamp set.

After stamping the images, which are so realistic, I masked off the trees and ink blended a sky and snowy hill.

I once again used the Faceted Stars for a background by heat embossing with white embossing powder. This time, I spritzed the card stock with water and sprinkled on Shimmer Powders.

I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Believe stamp set onto Vellum and heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder. To attach the Vellum I wrapped the edges around my trimmed down panel and adhered the Vellum on the back with tape. Then added to a white A2 size card base.

My next card features an image from the large Happy Pomegranates stamp set. I stamped the image onto white card stock with Embossing Ink and heat embossed with White embossing powder.

I lightly ink blended Candied Apple Distress Oxide ink over the image and wiped away any excess ink.

I have one more card featuring the Flower Garden stamp set. I really liked how the images were arranged on the stamp sheet, so I left them in place and stamped them onto white card stock with Embossing Ink. Then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder.

I lightly ink blended over the flower and leaves for an emboss resist effect.

Whew! That was a lot of cards to share! I hope you enjoyed all of the inspiration!
